The Farm at Buckwalter, located in Bluffton, South Carolina, reminds me of the neighborhood from where I grew up in in the Midwest. To me, The Farm, like my hometown community, hosts a laid-back country feel of a simpler time. I had roads where I could ride my bike, friends whose homes were close to mine, and the feeling of being a part of a community.
Set amongst miles of white horse rail fence, large mature maples, and draping oaks, The Farm at Buckwalter is a place where families enjoy “together” time while strolling along miles of sidewalks and wooded preserves. I always enjoy watching and photographing the wildlife and coastal birds in the nine community lagoons.
Homes within The Farm include both townhomes and single-family houses with an average resale price in the low to mid $200,000 range. It is one of the most affordable communities in Bluffton.
Historically, property in The Farm at Buckwalter tends to move quickly because of the resale averages and location. Located nearby Old Town Bluffton, The Buckwalter Community Center, and the Bluffton Middle and High School, The Farm is situated in a prime location.

Within the community, you will find neighborhood amenities that include an amenity center with a zero entrance pool and rentable clubhouse for birthday parties and family get-togethers. You will also find two playgrounds. One for toddlers and a separate larger children’s play area, with a swing set, for older children.

WHAT IS THE poa fee. What does the poa fee cover.
POA and HOA fees are the same thing. One stands for Property Owners Association and the other Home Owners Association. Depending on what part of the country you live in usually determines whether it’s called a POA or an HOA. The POA/HOA will cover common areas in most cases. So the pool, picnic areas, trails, etc. In some communities, it covers even more. All communities that have a POA or an HOA will have Community Covenants and Restrictions (CCRs). They go into more detail as to what the fee covers. Make sense?
